Inc. was established as a direct result of the increased
litigation in hotels/motels and commercial properties.
We can provide consulting and litigation support,
including expert witness testimony, for security or
security-related cases.

Thomas G. Davis,
President of Security Litigation Group, Inc., provides
litigation support and expert witness testimony in premises
security cases.
As a
Certified Hotel Administrator and Certified Lodging Security
Director, Thom Davis has been providing expert testimony in
the areas of safety and security for more than 13 years. Mr.
Davis has been involved in hotel security and loss prevention
management for more than 30 years.
He attended
Ohio State University and graduated from the Columbus Ohio
Police Academy in 1971. As a member of the Columbus
Police Department for 10 years, Mr. Davis investigated
homicides, burglaries, robberies, narcotics, and sexual
assaults.

Mr. Davis provides consulting services for apartment
complexes, banks, casinos, convenience stores, hotels/lodging, property
management companies, resorts, restaurants/bars, retail establishments,
security companies, transportation companies, commercial
buildings, condominiums, and colleges.
He has performed hundreds of
security audits and security consultations evaluating security
systems, procedures, and methods of dealing with security
hazards and safety risks.
About 10 to 12 percent of his
work is in litigation support. He has been retained on more than 300 cases throughout the United States and the Caribbean. Approximately, 60 percent of those cases have been on
behalf of defendants. Mr. Davis spends the majority of his
time performing security audits, lecturing, and consulting on
various security issues.
Mr. Davis has participated in
the preparation of safety and security manuals for hotels and
motels as well as reviewing and editing safety and security
video tapes for the Educational Institute of the American
Hotel & Lodging Association. |
